Automation of the Week: The Sales Pulse
Get clear, actionable insights without spending countless hours pulling data from multiple sources
I Built A Tool That Saves 5 Hours Every Week
Is this how you start your day? Open up your browser, hop between a dozen tabs - Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta ads, Amazon, Etsy, Hubspot, Instagram - just trying to piece together why sales are up or down?
As business owners, we need to know our numbers to understand what’s driving sales (or the lack of sales). But tracking traffic, orders, AOV, churn, email performance, and ad spend manually? … It’s overwhelming, and it steals hours you could spend growing your business.

Pull data from all of your tools into one place.
Why I Built The Sales Pulse
For YEARS, I’ve spent hours every week hopping between dashboards, exporting reports, tweaking Excel sheets, and sending updates to clients. I’d start each morning buried in data instead of focusing on strategy.
It was a time suck, and over time became mentally draining. And worse, it meant decisions were reactive, made hours or days later than they should have been.
The Solution: Automated Reporting
KPI reporting is essential for any business. Without it, you’re flying blind in a snowstorm. But how do we keep the value, but shrink the time commitment?
This is why I built the Sales Pulse.
Here is what you get:
Customizable Google Sheets Template
Ready-to-go integrations that pull in daily data from sales channels (Shopify), email performance (Klaviyo), and paid ad performance (Facebook Ads)
Consolidates KPIs all in one place
Displays data trends visually with graphs and charts
Sends a daily executive summary to your team
Updates automatically, every morning, without you lifting a finger
The cherry on top: A built-in AI analyst that reads your data, formats the daily summary, and provides KPI trend analysis in a compact, 300-word Slack message or email.
Here is an example summary output to Slack:

The Impact
This setup saves me roughly 5 hours/week, but more importantly, it allows my clients to act faster in the face of changing conditions.
I made it easy for you to start using this tool:
Get the public version of the Sales Pulse - Just save a copy to your Google Drive (so you can edit), and then follow the instructions inside.
Want help? Schedule a 30-minute done-for-you setup with me here. No cost. I just want people to get real value from this tool.
Are you a visual learner? Integrate this custom dashboard built on top of the report - updated daily.
Notes On Progress
It’s crazy to think about, but two years ago, building something like this would have taken me months. Thanks to modern tools - including help from my AI coding copilot - I was able to build this in about 10 hours, and can customize it in an hour or two for any e-commerce business running a similar stack
We’re entering a new era of bespoke, lightweight software tailored to exactly what your business needs, without the bloat or expense of one-size-fits-all tools. A few years ago, you needed a tool like Supermetrics (It was $200+/mo at the time) to do what the Sales Pulse does. Now you can build it yourself and save the $2400/year. This shift will change how small teams operate, and I’m excited to see where it leads.
